Your December Sales Plan to End the Holiday Season Strong

The final stretch is HERE and I hope this makes you lots of $$

I often see brand founders struggle with growing their business for one *big* reason:

👉🏼 sales planning (or, lack thereof)

And trust me, even though I’ve literally held the role of Planner, I get planning sometimes gets pushed aside in favor of ya know, …the actual work?

But – if you’re not mapping out HOW you’ll achieve your sales goals & manage inventory, that’s why it may feel confusing af knowing what to post & send each day or why you get to the end of the season with too much outdated stock.

Your marketing needs a DIRECTION to move in.

So here’s what I’d focus on to end the year strong & flyyy into the new year.

There are 4 big (huge!) sales opportunities you can leverage in December:

01. GIFT GIVING

Lean into customers internal motivations to act. Focus on how they’ll feel when they:

  • finally wrap up their list,
  • avoid the stress of shipping delays,
  • know they found THE gift

The number one thing that matters to most gift givers is CONFIDENCE in what they’re buying; they wanna look gooddd. Come along as a helpful guide with specific ideas, easy next steps to check out, and sprinkle social proof everywhere.

ps. If you’re in the Holiday Playbook, you can refer to “GIFT WEEK” within the calendar view for promo ideas !

02. SHIPPING CUTOFFS

As your shipping deadline approaches, shift into external urgency to act. It’s now or never ya know? Don’t hesitate to send those final reminders

ps. If you’re in the Holiday Playbook, you can refer to – “CTAs: Final Push, Last Day to Shop, & Reminders” & the calendar views to swipe specific CTAs and ideas

03. GIFT CARD PUSH

As your deadline closes, help last minute shoppers still give a meaningful gift. Approach this as you would anything else, with intentional ideas of who it’s best for or create a fun branded printout they can use to personalize the gift card experience

ps. If you’re in the Holiday Playbook, you can refer to the Calendar view for email & website updates

04. HOLIDAY BLOWOUT

Take advantage of traffic to clear seasonal, outdated, or transition inventory. Even if you’re winding down, people are shopping! Catch them while the holiday mood is still going strong to sell down at more profitable prices

05. BONUS: WHAT’S COMING NEXT

If you’re feeling ahead of the game – build hype for what’s coming next, so you don’t start the new year cold. Prime your audience for what’s coming in the new year so they stay toasty once you’re back.

CHEERS TO SMASHING THE FINAL MONTH OF THE YEAR 💸🎉

PS. If you don’t want to miss out on one of the biggest shopping months of the year, the Holiday Playbook goes more in-depth – Members this year have sent in messages like growing their email list by 23%, hitting over 120% of their November sales goal in just 18 days, and making $1.4k with less than 1300 followers. You can head here to get all the details & join today, cheering you on !
